Satchmo SummerFest is dedicated to its namesake, jazz trumpeter Louis Armstrong. Born and raised in the Crescent City, Armstrong infused New Orleans with the vibrant passion for music and jazz that still rings true today. In celebration of his life and art, Satchmo SummerFest is a festival that brings together old and new jazz musicians to create a living history of the art and look to the future of the craft.
